image productsThe end-products of our integrated solution are high quality visual, geo-referenced 2D and 3D aerial maps. We differentiate between three types of end-products, according to their application.
  • Orthophotos
  • Digital Terrain Models
  • Vegetation Maps

orthophotosThere is a wide selection of suppliers of aerial orthophoto images. Yet, sometimes the imagery of your area of interest in databases created by conventional remote sensing companies is too outdated or simply not existing. Also, satellite images can take a long time to be delivered and often don't offer the required resolution.

Our solution allows you to get proprietary and recent pictures on demand, or even better, to make your own! End-products are available within hours or days after survey, depending on the required accuracy.
digital terrain modelsA digital terrain model (DTM) is a digital representation of ground surface topography. DTMs are often used in geographic information systems (GIS), and are the most common basis for digitally-produced relief maps and high accuracy orthophotos. Industries such as mining, dredging, large construction etc often rely on topographic ground surveyors for measuring ground control points and creating as such a DTM. Quite some conversion work is needed for making the ground measurements injectable in a GIS application.

When the terrain to be measured is rather large, typically 1 to 20 square kilometers, an aerial remote sensing solution is more efficient than ground surveys. The flight duration is limited to several hours and the data processing is digitized and automated.

Moreover, the resulting DTM is directly compatible with common GIS applications and an image overlay to characterize the terrain is default.
vegetation mapsVegetation maps are combined visual and near infrared orthophoto maps. The spectra of two image layers are combined in a specific way according to vegetation indexes. The most common vegetation index is called NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index). It allows you to identify green, healthy vegetation against soil, water or unhealthy and dead vegetation.
