SolutionsWe build end-to-end solutions for the following applications, all of them to do with land management.
  • vegetation monitoring,
  • topographic survey,
  • infrastructure mapping.
This means that we tune our image acquisition and processing to fit the specific application needs. And, we also foresee the right analysis or post-processing tools.
Other applicationsWe invite you to contact us with questions and suggestions for alternative applications. We see our system to be useful in the following contexts.
  • construction and engineering,
  • 3D modeling and visualization,
  • waste management,
  • pipeline monitoring,
  • crisis management and situational awareness,
  • security assessment
  • ...
Vegetation monitoringOur prime end-to-end solution applies to precision agriculture. Our imagery allows for proper planning of terrain development, in-depth prospecting and visual inspection of the crops and plantations. Moreover, by operating with combined visual and near infrared images, our customers get highly accurate information for fertilization management or targeted harvesting.

As such we are gradually building an expert system solution for plantation management.
Topographic surveyThe mining industry is largely concerned with the volume measurements of open mines and quarries. DTM and orthophoto maps are of the utmost importance to the miners for internal progress reporting, environmental issues, volume calculations and planning.

When creating new land at coastal areas, continuous survey is a necessity. Dredging firms spend a great deal of time and money on their often large scale terrestrial survey work. Confronted with often remote or difficultly accessible locations, Gatewing aims at facilitating and uniforming this task.
Infrastructure mappingSimilarly to the industries above, study agencies and construction companies for infrastructural improvement are facing the same problems. Where the landscape is changing fast, on demand rapid mapping services (orthophotos) are becoming a very valuable tool for collaboration, modeling and planning. Road works, bridges, ramps, canals and flooding areas are all more easily inspected from the air. Large overviews allow engineers to make the necessary precautions when building our infrastructure.
